Ich hab folgendes Problem:

bei uns ist als Proxy Squid installiert. Bei manchen Kollegen kommt der 'Speichern als' Dialog wenn Sie eine bestimmte Seite öffnen, bei anderen nicht. Wenn man nun diese Datei als wasweisich.gz speichert und mit einem Packer öffnet erhält man eine HTML-Datei, d.h. das mod_gzip des Servers funktioniert - nur kann der Browser selbst das Ganze nicht auspacken.

Nun meine Frage: was kann ich dagegen tun? Am häufigsten tritt dieses Problem mit dem IE5.5 auf, jedoch nicht auf allen Arbeitsplätzen. Am Webserver kann ich keine Änderungen vornehmen, der gehört uns nicht und der dortige Administrator sieht keinen Grund dieses Modul zu deaktivieren. Wer diese Seite ebenfalls nicht anzeigen kann ist Netscape 4.78 unter Linux...
