Breite des Sichtbaren Bereiches bei eine ScrollPane

Hallo ihr Javaentwickler,

habe folgendes Problem.

Habe mir ein Panel (abgeleitet von JPanel) erzeugt, und es auf einer größe von 1000*1000 gesetzt, und diese dann noch auf eine JScrollPane gelegt. Jetzt möchte ich gerne wissen, "Wie Breit der sichtbare Bereich" in der JScrollPane ist.

entweder scrollPane.getViewport().getExtentSize().width oder

scrollPane.getVisibleRect().width. Bin mir nicht ganz sicher.

Vielleicht geben auch beide dasselbe zurück.
