Guten Morgen,

in meiner Seite definiere ich Folgende Variable:

var doc = new ActiveXObject("Msxml2.DOMDocument");

Diese Definition funktioniert unter IE 6.0 auch hervorragend.

Allerdings benutzen auch einige User die Seite die noch IE 5.5 einsetzen.

Wenn diese auf die Seite zugreifen wollen kommt folgende Fehlermeldung:

Automation Server can't create Object

kann mir vielleicht jemand helfen und mir sagen woran das liegt. Danke schon mal im vorraus

Habs mit try and Catch gelöst.

Falls der Fehler auftritt installiert er automatisch den MSXML3 nach und man kann

dann einfach weiterarbeiten.
