ich suche sehr dringend ein tool mit welchem ich eine ibm festplatte im low level formatieren kann. da ich werder zugriff per fdisk oder pqmagic auf die platte habe.

kann mir da jemand weiter helfen?

Stimt, grundsätzlich findest Du aber bei so ziemlich jedem Hersteller die herstellerspezifische Software für die Platten. Ich an Deiner Stelle würde hier auf Nummer sicher gehen und die genaue Software downloaden. Also ab auf die Herstellerseite und schauen, was es da so gibt.
