Wie kann ich in Delphi bei einem Datum - z.B. 31.12.1899 - das Jahr ermitteln. In der Datenbank (Sybase 8) würde mir hier die Funktion year(Datum) zur Verfügung stehen. Gibt es in Delphi etwas vergleichbares? In der Hilfe war leider zum Punkt "year" nichts zu finden.

Probiers mal mit der Prozedur "DecodeDate" die schlüsselt dir alle Elemente eines Datums auf.
