Dazu musst Du den X-Server entsprechend umkonfigurieren (beispielsweise mit yast2) und die entsprechende Farbtiefe setzen. Unter Umstaenden gibts auch irgendwo in kde ein passendes Tool, das dieses uebernimmt, sicher bin ich mir aber nicht.
