Hallo zusammen,

ich habe eine Suse Linux 7.0 Server mit quota. Jetzt bekomme ich einen neuen Server auf dem ich für die Benutzer auch quota einrichten möchte. Kann ich irgendwie die alten quota Einstellungen mitnehmen, oder muss ich die für alle User neu definieren?

hab zwar keine antwort jetzt darauf aber das würde mich ebenfalls interessieren! :)

Laut Manual-Pages sind die Dateien aquota.user bzw. quota.user in der Root der betroffenen Dateisysteme fuer die Quotas zustaendig. Versuch mal diese Dateien auf das neue System zu kopieren (vorausgesetzt die User-IDs sind identisch geblieben). Gegebenenfalls solltest Du mit "edquota" ueberpruefen koennen, inwieweit diese Werte uebernommen wurden.
