php: exec() unter WAMP funktioniert nicht

hi,

ich versuch über folgenden ausdruck eine htpasswd-datei zu erstellen, nur funktioniert das nicht so ganz.

die htpasswd.exe liegt im gleichen verzeichnis wie das script, welches sie aufrufen soll.

 

$eh = exec("htpasswd.exe -bm .htpasswd test 1234");

[/PHP]

-b = passwort aus argument (1234)

m = md5 codierung

was mach ich falsch?

oder muss php anders konfiguriert werden, damit 'exec()' funktioniert?

keine fehlermeldung, keine einträge im errorlog...

htpasswd.exe macht einfach nix. die datei wir nicht angelegt...

werde es wohl anders lösen...
