Das Projekt :

1x Rechner mit XP und Internetzugang.

1x Rechner mit W98

Beide per Hub in einem Netz

Beide sollen Internetzugang haben

Die Frage:

Gibt es Probleme wenn ich mit einer ICS-Diskette(XP) den W98 konfiguriere ?

Wenn ja - welche ?

ich glaube du benötigst die diskette nicht, gib die verbindung frei und richte den standardgateway und dns auf der 98 kiste auf 192.168.0.1

müsste es schon gewesen sein !

EDITIERT, da am Thema vorbei...

Du brauchst nichtmal das Gateway etc eingeben.....

Das wird dann von dem PC, auf dem ICS läuft per DHCP vergeben.

Dafür musst du in deinen Netzwerkoptionen allerdings "IP-Adresse automatisch beziehen" aktiviert haben.
