Hallo,

ich hab ein Problem mit Sendmail. Habe Redhat 9 am Laufen.

Problem ist, dass beim Bootvorgang der Sendmail Deamon ewig steht, ich muss bestimmt 5min warten, bis er weiter bootet. Kann mich leider nicht mehr erinnern, ob ich irgendwelche Systemeinstellungen geändert habe... aber ich glaube nicht.

Hat jemand eine Idee??

Wie wärs mit nem Log? Guck doch mal in sowas ähnlichem wie /var/log/messages bzw. /var/log/warn nach. Bist du dir auch sicher, dass es der sendmail ist und nicht z.B. ein Filesystemcheck?
