Hi

weiß jemand von euch wie ich die anwahlnummern zum provider per ISDN unter SuSE 8.1 aus der Textkonsole aus ändern kann?

Bitte kein Yast2 (Yet another slow Turtle). Also Dateien wo die nummern gespeichert ist usw.

Das liegt in /etc/sysconfig/network/provider. Dort einfach die Datei anpassen 'phone' und SuSEconfig starten. Das ist zumindest das was Yast macht.

Oder ganz von Hand. Siehe hierzu die manpages von ipppd und isdnctrl.

ich habe herausgefunden das es reicht wenn man nach den editieren ippp0 (bzw. die editierte datei) runterfährt und dach gleich wieder startet.

SuSEconfig brauche ich wenn ich die datei /etc/sysconfig/isdn/cfg-net0 editiere und dann geht es schneller wenn ich

SuSEconfig --module isdn

mache aber dann muss ich das interface auch noch mal restarten.
