Hatte bisher auf meinem Notebook Mandarke 8.2

Habe jetzt mal Mandrake 9.1 installiert (mittlerweile mehrmals), doch beim hochfahren und starten von KDE, wenn der Splashscreen gerade lädt oder fertig ist, wird das bild verzerrt, dann wir das Biold schwarz und das wars.

Kann mir jemand helfen?

Ist übrigens ein Notebook. Bein Grafiktreiber Flatscreen 1024x768 bei 65.000 Farben einegstellt .

stürzt der Laptop komplett ab oder kannst Du ihn noch pingen bzw. auf eine Ascii-Konsole umschalten? Versuch doch erstmal einen Installation ohne X bzw. fahre im Single-User Mode hoch und schau nach, ob der richtige Grafiktreiber (X-Server) installiert ist.

Der Bildschirm ist einfach schwarz und nix geht mehr.

Auch wenn ich nur in der Konsole starte. :(
