Hy,

ich habe ein 56k Modem von NetoDragon,. Unter Suse 9 wird es nicht richtig erkannt. (Es wird als Smart Link erkannt) Wo bekomme ich die Linux-Treiber für das Modem her, oder wie kann ich es anders einrichten?

Handelt es sich hierbei um ein internes oder externes Modem? Ich gehe jetzt mal der Annahme, daß es sich um ein internes Modem handelt. Sollte dies eine COM-Schnittstelle zur Verfügung stellen muß man nur den pppd auf diese ansetzen (idR. COM3 bzw. ttyS2). Ist dies nicht der Fall handelt es sich warscheinlich um ein 'Winmodem'.
