.bin Dateien unter Suse 9.0 Prof entpacken

Hi Leute, ein kurze und schnelle Frage ....

mit Suse 7.2 konnte ich .bin Dateien mit einem Programm auf der Plate entpacken. Jetzt habe ich Suse 9. Da klappt es irgentwie nicht, Ich habe auch schon alles abgesucht wo dieses Programm sein könnte. Nur leider ohne Erfolg. Hat jemand schonmal eine .bin Datei auf einer Linuxkiste enpackt? .tar usw. ist kein Problem.

Ich will auf keinen Fall erst die .bin Datei auf eine CD brennen , also somit entpacken sondern direkt auf der Platte.

Wenn es sich bei dem BIN-File um ein Image handelt, sollte man es doch auch einfach mounten können, oder?
