Hallo,

(benutze Borland 5.01)

ich will verschiedene strings in einer Tabelle ausgeben, da aber mancher string zu lang ist, wird die Formatierung versaut.

Deswegen will ich herausfinden wie ich die Zeichenlänge der strings zurückgeben lassen kann, umso zu überprüfen, ob der string zu lang für die Tabelle ist. Bei Feldern benutze ich den Befehl strlen(Feld), aber das scheint mit strings nicht zu funktionieren.

Zu lange strings will ich mit "..." nach der n-ten Stelle, nur für die Ausgabe, kürzen lassen. Da weiß ich auch nicht, wie ich das mit strings hinkriege, oder gibt es eine Möglichkeit einen string in einem Feld umzuwandeln?

PS: Wer benutzen den gleichen Compiler und bei dem klappt der sound()-Befehl?
