Hallo,

hab mir das kleine aber feine Programm checkinstall besorgt, mit dem man aus den Sources seine rpms selber basteln kann. Nun meine Frage:

Brauche ich die src noch, nachdem die Pakete erstellt und installiert wurden?

Ich gehe immer folgendermaßen vor:

- tarball runterladen

- entpacken nach /usr/local/src

- configure, make, checkinstall

- dann wird das Paket in ein anderes Verzeichnis kopiert und installiert
