Kein "mysql.h" bei SUSE 8.2

Hallo,

ich versuche vergeblich ein MySQL Dabenbank zu erstellen und in einem C programm sie zu verwalten und als .cgi über Apache im browser die Ergebnisse anzuzeigen.

Irgendwie will SUSE 8.2 den "mysql.h" nicht erkennen. Ich bekomme dauernd die selben Fehlermeldungen dass jegliche MySQL komponenten nicht erkannt werden und die Fehlermeldungen sind stets auf "mysql.h" zurückzuführen.

Ich habe nach dem header gesucht leider ohne Erfolg (in usr\include und überall sonst). Der MySQL Server läuft allerdings einwandfrei !

Wo ist der " mysql.h " ?
