hi ho @ all

Habe mal ne Frage ob es für Win 2003 Server ein Image System gibt wie bei WIN 2000 (RIS)????

bzw ob es gute Progs gibt die Hardwarunabhängige Images von Win XP, Linux etc... machen können

RIS ist kein Image-System, sondern eine spezielle unbeaufsichtigte Installation. Mit RIS lassen sich nur Windows 2000 und dessen Nachfolger installieren, jedoch keine anderen Betriebssysteme. Dafür werden aber relativ weitreichende Änderungen im Bereich der Hardware unterstützt, was bei Images nur eingeschränkt funktioniert.

Für die Verwendung von Images benötigst du (je nach gewünschtem Funktionsumfang) spezielle Image-Software wie z.B. ImageCast oder Ghost, oder den Linux-Befehl dd.
