hi

kann mir jemand sagen wie ich unter Suse 9.0 mit ner Geforce 4200TI 2 Monitore benützen kann?? bei der Installation kommt auf beiden das gleiche und bei starten von x schält einer dann ab.

Das hier ist meine XF86config die ich für Dualmonitor mit Xinerama angepasst hatte. War auch SuSE 9.0, und hat wunderbar funktioniert.

Das file findest du in /etc/X11/XF86config

Ich schlage vor du machst ein backup von der jetzigen XF86config und ersetzt sie mit meiner, versuchst das dann nochmal.

hab die datei ersetzt aber wenn ich dann neustarte startet x nicht mehr.

startx eingeben

fehlermeldung posten

möglicherweise fehlt dir der nvidia driver

dann schau mal was bei driver in deiner alten XF86config steht und ersetz das nvidia damit

ich meine ich musste mir den driver auf der nvidia homepage runterladen, deshalb kann sein das es nicht klappt.

aber poste mal die fehlerausgabe von startx

Poste mal das Config-File. "Und" kommt in der obigen Konfiguration nicht vor, wahrscheinlich ist was beim Cut and Paste schief gegangen.

Das mit dem und hab ich korigiert (jetzt zeigt er mir auf beiden bildschirmen das gleiche an) wen ich bei sax2 jetzt die gleiche grafikkarte noch malhinzugüge kommt immer der fehler:
