Hallo.

Meine Frage zu PHP ist ganz einfach:

Wann nehme ich ' und wann "?

Strings die in einfachen Quotas (') stehen werden von dem PHP Interpreter nicht noch mal analysiert. Das heisst das Sonderzeichen (\n) oder Variablen ($foo) nicht aufgelöst werden.

Man sollte die einfachen Quoats verwenden wenn der Interpreter sich das parsen eh sparen kann - z.B. bei include() - wenn hier keine Variablen verwendet werden.

Im Grunde kann das verwenden von ' etwas performanter sein - so 1^10tel sekunde.

Einige Puristen meinen das man auf " gänzlich verzichten sollte - naja wers mag :)
