56k Modem - Einstellung

Hallo,

ich verwende ein 56k - Modem von Acer (Generic SoftK56).

Hab auch keine Probleme damit.

Ein Bekannter meinte, ich soll in den Eigenschaften des Modems bei "weitere Initialisierungsbefehle" s11=50 reinschreiben.

Was das bewirkt, konnte er mir nicht sagen. Weiss jemand von Euch, was man damit bezweckt?
