ist es mit nem befehl moeglich herauszufinden, welche datei in einem folder die aktuellste ist ?

ich hab mehrere dateien a la:

berlin.1.txt

berlin.2.txt

berlin.3.txt

mainz.1.txt

mainz.2.txt

...

ich will nun sagen:

gib mir die aktuellste von berlin oder mainz oder ...

will das in ein script einbauen .

bin fuer jede hilfe dankbar

jo das hat mir geholfen ... danke :)
