Hi,

hab mal ne Frage.

Will mir den MSI Mega 651 Barebone zulegen mit nem P4-Socket 478. Jetzt such ich dazu nen passenden Prozessor. Laut Beschreibung ist das Mainboard mit 400/533 Mhz FSB getaktet. Jetzt meine Frage: Kann ich da nur einen P4 mit 533 Mhz FSB einbauen oder auch einen mit 800Mhz?

Bin für Ratschläge dankbar...

Du kannst da auch einen P4 mit 800 MHz FSB reinbauen, der wird dann aber nur mit 533 MHz FSB laufen, weil das Mainboard halt keine höheren FSB-Takte unterstützt. Da der P4 keine Multiplikatoränderung zulässt würde der deswegen deftig untertaktet werden und es lohnt sich deswegen nicht den P4 mit 800er FSB zu kaufen.
