Ein Pixel hat keine feste Grösse, es kommt auf die dpi (dots per inch) an. Bei Wikipedia z.B. steht einiges über Pixel geschrieben.

Ein Pixel ist nichts anderes als ein Bildpunkt - und ein Punkt hat keine fixe Größe. Stell dir einen normalen Monitor vor - da hat ein Pixel eine Größe im Mikrometer-Bereich. Bei einer Großleinwand dagegen kann ein Pixel auch schonmal die Größe von einem Zentimeter oder mehr haben. Pixel heisst einfach nur: Kleinste ansteuerbare (oder unterscheidbare) Einheit, in der eine Farbe dargestellt werden kann.
