Hallo Leute,

hab da mal ne kurze Frage. Gibt es nen Mainboard für nen AMD Athlon XP 1800 mit SD Ram aber AGP 8x????

Ich wüsste keins, da das vom Chipsatz abhängig ist und alle mir bekannten Chipsätze für AMD XP, die SDR-RAM können, nur AGP4x bieten, das ist aber insofern kein Problem dass jede AGP8x-Grafikkarte auch problemlos in einem AGP4x-Slot betrieben werden kann. AGP8x-Karten sind nämlich keine reinen AGP8x-Karten sondern kombinierte AGP4x/8x-Karten, damit die Kompatibilität zu älteren Mainboards gewährleistet ist. Außerdem bietet AGP8x im Prinzip keinen Performancevorteil gegenüber AGP4x, besonders nicht bei so einem relativ schwachen Unterbau wie XP 1800+ mit SDR-RAM.
