Kennt jemand die

"Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Web Edition"?

Macht das Sinn um einen Server fürs Internet bereit zu stellen? Oder wofür soll die gut sein?

Ist eben sehr abgespeckt und fast ausschließlich für die IIS gedacht...

Die meisten anderen Dienste sind nicht verfügbar in dieser Version. Wenn du mehr willst solltest du die Standard, Advanced oder Enterprise nehmen...

Es ist also nicht wirklich MEHR drinn (fürs WEB), sondern nur WENIGER (für normales Netz), ja?

ja, genau so ist das, die Features der Web-Edition sind in den anderen sowieso mit drin...
