Hi,

ich steige grad voll nicht mehr durch.

Gibt es einen Unterschied zwischen "PCI-X 64bit" und "PCI 64bit 66 MHz"?

Oder anders gefragt, kann ich einen Raid-Controller, der folgendes benötigt "Bustyp: 64 Bit/66 MHz PCI; Systemvoraussetzungen: Freier, der PCI-Spezifikation 2.2 entsprechender PCI-Steckplatz" in einem solchen Slot "PCI-X 64bit/133MHz" betreiben? Natürlich fehlerfrei und ohne Leistungsverlust?

PCI-X ist grundsätzlich abwärtskompatibel, auch zu PCI. Wenn Du eine Karte mit 66 MHz PCI-Takt in einen Slot mit 133 MHz steckst wird der Slot (bzw. der Bus) auf 66 MHz runtergebremst und es funktioniert.

Wenn die Karte physikalisch passt (also kein Steg innerhalb des Slots im Weg ist) läuft die auch in einem PCI-X 64-Bit/133 MHz-Slot (siehe auch hier).
