- Ja, das sind beides DBMS.

- Nein, es sind nicht die gleichen DBMS.

- Über die Unterschiede zwischen MySql und Interbase kann man sicherlich ein Buch schreiben. ;)

Hier mal das, was wikipedia dazu sagt:

Mysql

MySql wird häufig in Web-Anwendungen eingesetzt. Interbase ist nicht so verbreitet.
