Hallo zusammen,

wir wollen demnächst alle unsere 500PC's über den Windows Update Server updaten. Ich habe jedoch ein Problem. Die Pc's stehen in unseren Niederlassungen in ganz Deutschland verteilt. In jeder Niederlassung steht jeweils nur ein Server (Fileserver/Printserver: Samba/Cups) mit Linux / Unix als Betriebssystem. In unserer Verwaltung würde der SUS Server eingerichtet werden.

Meine Frage: Ist es möglich die Windowsupdates auf den Linuxservern abzulegen , damit sich die Clients die Updates vom lokalen Server ziehen können und nicht übers Internet auf dem Hauptserver.

Wir haben kein Active Directory.

der wsus _muss_ auf nem windows-server ab w2k laufen... ohne das geht es nicht
