über browser etwas auf ftp löschen?

Hallo! da ich hier auf der arbeit nicht auf meinen (web-)ftp (****** proxy, kann den auch beim FTP programm einstellen, geht trotzdem nicht) komme wollt ich mal fragen ob es möglich ist über den browser (da komm ich drauf) etwas auf dem FTP zu löschen?? hab firefox oder den IE. Wie stell ich das an? kann die datein nämlich nur öffnen, nicht aber löschen, zumindest weiß ich nicht wie...
