Ich habe eine vielleicht etwas ungewöhnliche Frage.

Outlook 2003 bietet ja die Funktion, dass es Vorschläge für Adressen macht, wenn ich beginne eine Adresse in das Feld "An:" einer neuen E-Mail einzutragen.

Kann mir jemand sagen, wo sich Outlook diese Informationen herholt? Schaut er im Outlook-Adressbuch oder in den persönlichen Kontakten nach? Oder werden Adressen die ich dort einmal eingegeben habe noch irgendwo anders gespeichert? Wenn ja, in welcher Datei?

Bitte erleuchtet mich, denn ich bin verwirrt.

The auto-fill option pulls up every address a person had, even though I have removed the old addresses from my contacts.

The autocomplete cache is stored in a *.nk2 file at C:\Documents and Settings\username\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook. You can delete the file to start fresh or use the arrow keys (as you are typing addresses in the fields) to select an address and use the Delete key to remove it.
