So zusammen,

ich wollte mir gerade mal etws mit VMWare spielen und mir Fedora Core5 als VM erstellen.

Ich hatte vor den VMXWizard dafür zu verwenden um das Image dann mit dem Vmplayer laufen lassen. Allerdings, so weit ich weis, hat FC5 nen 2.6er Kernel. Bei VMX wird unter den Linux Betriebssystemen aber nur der Kernel 2.4 angezeigt. Gibt es da evtll. nen update? Hab nichts beim Suchen gefunden.

Gibt es andere tools zum erstellen einer VM?

Hat jemand damit schon mal gearbeitet?(also mit VMX)

die vm workstation kannst du 30 tage kostenlos testen wenn ich mich recht entsinne...

ansonsten den vmware server der ist kostenlos...
