Windows 2000 Profesional erkennt keine CD-Laufwerke mehr

In letzter habe ich Probleme mit den CD-Laufwerken. Im Arbeitsplatz werden keine CD-Laufwerke mehr angezeigt. Im Geräte-Manager erscheint folgende Fehlermeldung: "Registrierung ist eventuell beschädigt (Code 19)" Meine Idee war zuerst, die Registrierung zu Prüfen, was früher unter Windows 98 mit "scanreg" möglich war. Kann mir bitte jemand helfen? Vielen Dank schonmal.
