Hallo,

woran kann ich erkennen ob meine Batterie auf dem Mainboard leer ist?

Normalerweise daran, dass das Bios keine Einstellungen mehr speichert, sondern bei jedem Ausschalten des PC auf Werkseinstellungen (insbesondere Uhrzeit) zurückspringt.

wofür ist die rote LED neben der Batterie?

Zeigt bei den Mainboards, die ich kenne, lediglich an, dass das Board über ein ATX-Netzteil mit (mindestens) Standby-Spannung versorgt wird.
