Hallo, ich habe VMWare Server bei mir auf dem Rechner installiert, habe aber Performanceschwierigkeiten. Zum Beispiel wenn ich den Explorer öffne und den ein wenig auf dem Bildschirm rumziehe, ruckelt es....

Wie kann ich die Performance von VWWare Server verbessern?

Ich würde sagen dann brauchste mehr RAM aber ein bisschen Ruckeln ist bei VMWARE eigentl. normal ....

Auf was für einem System hast du VMWare installiert?

Windows oder Linux?

VMWare unter Windows ist ein echter Speicherfresser.

Für ein Windowssystem mit 2 VMWare Maschinen kann ich 2 GB Speicher empfehlen. Dann läuft es ziemlich flüssig.

Edit: Du kannst auch einstellen wieviel Speicher der VMWare Maschine zur Verfügung stehen soll. Wenn du eigentlich genug Speicher hast, versuch mal den Wert zu erhöhen.

Das könnte dir eine Performance Verbesserung bringen.
