Hi Leute,

ich habe hier privat ein Acer Notebook TravelMate 4500 von einem Kunden. Er hatte sein Bios so eingestellt das es auch vor dem Booten gerne ein Passwort haben möchte. Nun hat dieser Depp (:floet:) sein PW vergessen und ich soll das jetzt wieder heile machen.

Bei Notebooks habe ich nicht so die Erfahrungen wie man die Bios Kennwörter zurück setzt. Vor allem habe ich keine Ahnung von Acer Produkten. Hat einer von euch Erfahrungen oder Tips für mich?!

Da ein Bios-Passwort bei Notebooks ein Diebstahlsschutz ist, lässt sich das normalerweise nicht selber resetieren.

Wende dich mit den entsprechenden Eigentumsnachweisen an den Herstellersupport.
