Hallo,

angenommen ein IMAP Server speichert die Mails in einem Dateisystem. Wie werden dann die Mails abgelegt? Ich meine in welchem Datenformat liegen sie im Dateisystem? Und was passiert mit den Anhängen? Vielleicht weiss jemand darüber bescheid. Danke.

Nebenbei suche ich auch noch einen kleinen IMAP open source mailserver für Windows Plattform. Kennt jemand einen?
