    simpleuser hat auf Malteffonk in RAID Berechnungen   
    Da du bei einem RAID 1 lediglich die Festplatte spiegelst bleibt nur die Kapazität einer Festplatte über.
    Ein RAID 1 mit mehr als 2 Festplatten resultiert dann nur in der doppelten Spiegelung der ersten Festplatte.
    D.h. bei einem RAID 1 mit 4x 500GB Festplatten bleiben dir nur 500GB Kapazität. Dafür können jedoch 3 der 4 Festplatten gleichzeitig ausfallen.
