DVDs werden nicht erkannt

Hallo,

der Windows Explorer von XP Home erkennt eingelegte DVDs nicht. Weder im ROM - LW noch im Brenner; keine Originale DVD/CD, Gebrannte DVD/CD oder CD/DVD Rohlinge. Beim Klick auf das Lese-LW erscheint die Meldung "Bitte Datenträger einlegen." . Wenn ich auf den Brenner klicke, erscheint eine Meldung, daß der Zugriff nicht gültig ist. Im Gerätemanager wird kein Fehler angezeigt. Mehrfaches Neustarten und wechseln der Medien brachte keinen Erfolg. Wenn ich den Rechner boote, wird die DVD im ROM-LW aber erkannt. Er sucht zumindest man einem Betriebssystem darauf.

Was könnte die Ursache sein?

Beide Laufwerke sind von LG.

Mainboard von MSI.
