Hallo zusammen,

ich hatte nach einer Neuinstallation (Windows XP SP3) leider gleich den Internet Explorer 8 Beta 2 auf dem Rechner. Hat jemand eine Ahnung, ob der Internet Explorer 8 gleich mit den SP3 von Windows XP enthalten ist. Ich würde nämlich gerne den IE8 durch durch den IE7 ersetzen. Ich kann den nur lieder über "Software" nicht entfernen ;-(

Hat jemand eine Idee??

Nein, der IE 8 Beta 2 ist nicht im SP3 für XP enthalten, Microsoft wird sich hüten, irgendwelche Beta-Software in ein Servicepack zu packen.

Lässt Du dir in der Software-Systemsteuerung auch Updates anzeigen? Da sollte der IE8 Beta 2 eigentlich drin stehen.

Ich habe soeben einen Eintrag gefunden. Microsoft hat in einem Blog geschrieben, dass man erst das SP3 wieder deinstallieren muss, bevor man den IE 8 Beta 2 aus dem System bekommt.
