Hallo,

Ich habe auf einen unserer Webserver ein postfix installiert, nun habe ich das problem das beim senden von mails in der Log immer ein connection timeout geschrieben wird!?

ich weiß nicht genau, aber muss ich nicht noch eine datei haben wo ich das pw oder sowas angebe? wenn ja welches root?

dann soll der postfix keine mails annehmen, wie und wo muss ich das konfigurieren!

hostdaten unkenntlich gemacht

Der Connection timed out bedeutet, dass dein Mailserver eine Verbindung zu dem ns1.rach...de aufbauen möchte und das dann scheitert.

Versuch mal eine Verbindung per telnet und port 25 auf den Host eine Verbindung herzustellen.

Warum soll der Postfix keine Mails annehmen, was soll er sonst machen? Über $mydestination / $mydomain kannst du bspw. angeben, für welche Domains der Mailserver zuständig ist.

Also irgendwas stimmt mit der Konfiguration des Remote Mailservers ns1.xyzhostnname.de nicht. Zumindest braucht er ewig lange um zu antworten und schmeisst einen dannach gleich wieder raus.

Also solltest du mal dort nachhaken...
