Hallo alle zusammen...

Ich bin auf der Suche nach einem Programm das folgendes kann :

1. DBF Dateien laden

2. DBF Dateien editieren

3. DBF Dateien speichern

4. Möglichst Freeware ,für gewerbl. Gebrauch.

Postet einfach mal alles was ihr findet.

Excel und Openoffice hätte ich noch anzubieten - auch via JET (OLEDB, etc.) kann man auf DBF-Files zugreifen (connectionstrings.com für Details).

Und Obacht: DBF ist nicht gleich DBF!

FoxPro, dBase III/IV, Clipper, SIx und diverse Anwandlungen von Datenbankfiles haben diese Endung.

Wenn man ein DBF aus XBase mit DBTs für Textfelder und "seltsamen" Indices ala NSX einfach mal mit FoxPro bearbeitet kann es sehr gut sein, dass die ursprüngliche App damit nix mehr anfangen kann.

Beim Umgang mit alten DOS-Schinken ist somit besondere Vorsicht geboten.
