Hallo,

Ich wollte mal Fragen warum hauptsächlich MSI-Pakete für Softwareverteilung genommen werden ?!

Ich kenne im Moment RIS und OPSI die mit MSI Paketen arbeiten - was ist denn daran so speziel ?

Und weil es sich dabei um einen Fast-Standard handelt. Viele MSI-Pakete interpretieren die mitgesendeten Parameter (z.B. silent) alle gleich, was dafür führt, dass die Arbeiten erleichtert werden. Weitere Vorteil ist die Reparaturfähigkeit der installierten Software durch das MSI-Paket.
