have a copy thats been in for about 6 months but now it has the pop up with this copy is not genuine I have checked out you tube on how to fix it but only found 14 y/o doing the tutorials. any ideas?

It's quite easy: buy a legal version of windows 7.

If you deserve to use an operating system for free and are not willing to pay for it, use linux

Fedora, Ubuntu, etc. are free for use, don't have any charges and mostly are as comfortable to use as a windows 7 system.

If you don't like them, you are free to create your "own" linux-look. KDE, Gnome, xfce .. all of em are highly customizable.

As Cief Wiggum said, you won't get any support in illegal actions here.

My advice: just buy it. you don't have any problems with the updates then.
