Hi Leute

Hier mal wieder ne Microsoft Frage. Wofür ALG.exe (Application Layer Gateway Service) unter Windows xp.

Wenn ich diese Datei mit ner Firewall blocke dann kann ich keine Verbindung zu einem FTP aufbauen. Was soll das ?

Jemand ne Ahnung wo ich den Dienst abstellen kann. Warum ich keine verbindung zu den ftp´s bekomme( wenn geblockt)?

ALG.EXE :

Application Layer Gateway Service ~ Provides support for 3rd party plug-ins for Internet Connection Sharing/Internet Connection Firewall. Required if using Internet Connection Sharing/Internet Connection Firewall to connect to the internet.

Fazit:

Man kann den Service deaktivieren wenn man kein ICS (die Verbindungsfreigabe von XP) oder die eingebaute Firewall benutzt, ansonsten sollte man den Service per "automatisch" starten und arbeiten lassen.

Google ist dein Freund ;)
