Hallo,

Wenn man sich die Hilfeoptionen von format anzeigen läßt, kommen alle optionen. Unter anderem,

[/1] mit der Beschreibung "Formatiert nur die erste Seite einer Diskette"

Da frage ich mich jetzt wozu das gut sein soll

Disketten waren früher mal größer, und konnten beidseitig beschrieben werden, wobei manche Laufwerke nur einen Kopf hatten.

Man musste also drehen. Außerdem hat man teilweise Löcher reingeschnitten.

Hmm... IMO ist die Diskette dann nur mit 720Kb formatiert...

Das war damals ein gäniges Format...

Und wie wir alle wissen, trägt Windows noch ne Menge an Altlasten mit sich rum... ausserdem sollte man bei Windows eh nich nach Sinn oder Unsinn fragen ;)

Gut, frage nicht mehr nach Sinn und Unsinn.
