Was ist der unterschied zwischen der 32Bit Version von Windows XP und der 64Bit Version von XP

Die 32Bit Version ist für 32Bit basierte Hardware und die 64er für 64Bit basierte Hardware...;)

Die 64Bit Hardware hat einen Doppelt so breiten Bus, daher können bei gleicher Taktung, verglichen mit einem 32Bit System, doppelt so viele Daten übertragen werden... und daher muss die 32Bit Windowsversion an die 64Bit Hardwareversion angepasst werden, deswegen die neue 64Bit Windowsversion...

Bei solchen Fragen wird vielleicht auch eine vereinfachte Antwort gebraucht:

32-Bit = für ganz normale PCs

64-Bit = für z.B. Alpha-Stations = Rechner, für die die Software extra geschrieben wird, normale PC-Programme würden da nicht funktionieren, da sie für 32-Bit-Systeme (sprich: PCs) geschrieben sind.
