Hi

Ich möchte den Windows Media Player(Version: 8.0.0.4477) vom Desktop öffnen und bekomme dann die Fehlermeldung in der irgendetwas über die datei vmpui.dll steht. Wenn ich diese mit OK bestätige "hängt" sich der PC auf.

Hat ein solches Problem schon mal wer gehabt und wie kann ich es am besten lösen?

welche windows-version?

startest du den mp durch einen link auf dem desktop oder liegt die *.exe des mp auf dem desktop?

lässt sich der mp aus dem startmenue starten?

Windows Version ist XP.

Ich die Verknüpfung am Desktop nicht starten und auch die Exe selbst nicht.

Hab wirklich keine Ahnung was ich jetzt machen soll....
