SCSI-Festplatte defekt???

Hallo,

aus meiner Sicht ist die Platte defekt!

Ich habe mir zwei IBM SCSI-Festplatten gekauft.

A) DCAS-34430 E 182115 HQ

B) DCAS-34430 E 182115 ??

Wenn ich nun die eine ans Netzteil hänge hört man genau wie der Motor anläuft und sich die Platt „unrund“ in der Hand verhält.

Bei der anderen Platte hört man überhaupt nichts und wenn man Sie mit der Hand bewegt, spürt man auch dieses „unrunde“ nicht.

Auch im eingebauten Zustand am SCSI Kabel -> richtig adressiert -> wird im BIOS nur die laufende erkannt. Bei der anderen zeigt das BIOS dann nur DCAS…. und dann geht nichts mehr.

Gibt’s da bestimmte Jumper Settings?

Was bedeutet:

J5: ENABLE AUTOSPIN

J7: DISABLE UNIT ATTN

J8: TI SYNC NEGO

J9: AUTO START DELAY

J10: DELAY START 6/12
