Hallo Leute,

erstmal eine Vorabanfrage:

Ich habe eine Access 97-DB erstellt und jetzt Access 2000 installiert. Nun kann ich meine Datenbank von 97 nicht mehr nutzen.

Kann mir jetzt schon jemand sagen woran das liegt?

Das sollte aber funktionieren.

Beim Starten der Datenbank (z.B. via Doppelklick im Explorer) fragt Access, ob du öffnen oder konvertieren willst. Mit "Öffnen" bleibt es eine A97-MDB, aber du kannst keine Entwurfsänderungen vornehmen. Mit "Konvertieren" wird in eine A2000-MDB umgewandelt, danach kann die Datenbank aber nicht mehr mit Access 97 geöffnet werden.

Sollte diese Frage nicht mehr gestellt werden, musst du aus Access heraus ohne offene Datenbank über "/Extras/Datenbank-Dienstprogramme/Datenbank konvertieren/In aktuelle Access-Version" ausführen.
